A vintage postcard featuring the Sharjah Airport Mosque, one of the emirate’s most distinctive modern mosques. Designed by architect Mohammed Al Zahari and completed in 1969, the mosque served the original Sharjah International Airport and became a notable architectural landmark before being demolished in the 1980s following the airport’s relocation. Today, it remains an important piece of Sharjah’s architectural history.
