A vintage postcard depicting Al Fahidi Fort (Old Dubai Fort), one of Dubai’s oldest and most significant historic landmarks. Although the reverse caption incorrectly identifies it as “The Old Fortress of Dubai, Trucial States” in English and mistakenly refers to Ajman in the Arabic text, the image clearly shows Al Fahidi Fort in Dubai, recognizable by its distinctive circular watchtower and adjoining mosque minaret. The fort later became the home of the Dubai Museum and remains one of the city’s most iconic heritage sites.

  • Approximate production date: Late 1960s

  • Photographer & Distributor: Sa’id H. Salah, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

  • Manufacturer: Krüger (Made in Germany)

  • Overall condition: Good vintage condition with light corner wear, age toning, and minor surface marks. Unposted. The publisher’s Arabic caption incorrectly identifies the fort as being in Ajman, making this an interesting printing error for collectors.
