First Flight Cover issued on 2 October 1970 for Air-India’s inaugural service between Abu Dhabi and Bombay. Features two Abu Dhabi stamps (25 fils and 35 fils) from the 1970 Expo ’70 set, depicting Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Mount Fuji artwork by Hokusai Tamekichi. Cachet artwork shows a traditional Arabian man and an Indian man exchanging greetings, with “Abu Dhabi” and “Bombay” prominently printed. Includes oval commemorative Air-India postmark dated 2 October 1970 and circular “Trucial States” cancellation. Addressed to Mr. S.K. Kooka, Commercial Director, Air-India, Bombay. Reverse bears “Philatelic Bureau Bombay G.P.O.” delivery mark dated 2 October 1970.
