Kuwait, 15 June 1997 – Speaker of Parliament Ahmed Al-Sadoun visits liberal MP Abdullah Al-Nibari at the hospital after he was shot and wounded in an assassination attempt. Al-Nibari was later flown to Boston, USA, for further medical treatment.
