A C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft flies over rugged terrain and a volcanic crater, en route to deliver humanitarian aid to Ethiopia during one of the region’s devastating droughts. Operated as part of an international relief effort, the aircraft—nicknamed “Fat Albert”—was filled with essential supplies for communities in crisis. Circa 1980s.
